USAID/Kenya Primary Math and Reading (PRIMR) Initiative: Endline Impact Evaluation - Revised Edition

This document is a revision of the April 2014 version of the PRIMR endline impact evaluation. Changes include a revised executive summary to incorporate treatment effects based on PRIMR longitudinal data; and additional citations of recent publications relevant to the analyses. The PRIMR experimental intervention's effects on pupil performance were formally measured at three points via EGRA/EGMA/SSME: Baseline (Jan 2012), midterm (Oct 2012), and endline (Oct 2013). This report presents the findings on learners' progress in literacy and math as of the final assessment.
