GPE’s webinar series: Developing and supporting effective education systems
Presenter, Dr. Penelope Bender (USAID), provided an overview of the Global Book Fund, and shared an update on progress in developing the fund's activities. During the webinar, Dr. Bender engaged participants in thinking about innovative ways to improve and increase content, transform approaches to financing and procurement, and modernize supply chain management to ensure Books for Every Child.
The remainder of the time was full of presentations from Feasibility Study which looks at the feasibility of a Global Book Fund, and the three technology-based interventions that have been supported by All Children Reading Grand Challenge for Development (ACR GCD) initiative that are included in the Global Book fund suite of activities.
