Ask the Experts Reading Instruction in the Age of COVID-19
The questions we received at the BEC-GRN event Reading Instruction in the Age of COVID-19 — Planning for the Present and the Future were plentiful and fantastic. So we're offering an extra "Ask the Experts" follow-up session to ensure we're able to give them the attention they deserve.
The speakers will provide in-depth responses to the following questions posed by the audience. BEC members and other webinar participants will be invited to comment on their programming experiences as well.
Questions:
- How did you determine realistic learning objectives for radio programming? How did your teams reflect on what reading concepts could be transmitted, both with and without explanation and/or demonstration?
- Which reading concepts did your programs decide to target? How did you factor recent evaluations of student skills, into that decision?
- How are you using other technologies (SMS, Whats App) to reinforce specific reading concepts taught by radio?
