REACH webinar series on early grade reading program design and implementation

REACH, in collaboration with the Global Reading Network, is organizing a series of online trainings on key issues in early grade reading programs. The purpose of these professional development opportunities is to provide participants with evidence-based information, guidance and practical resources to support the design, implementation and evaluation of EGR initiatives.

The professional development opportunities are aimed at those who develop, implement and manage EGR programs, with all levels of experience welcome. Resources and tools will be provided.   • November 1: Introduction to early grade reading improvement and the webinar series

  • November 6: Resources for teaching and learning early grade reading

  • November 8: Key early grade reading skills and strategies for effective instruction and assessment

  • November 13: Language considerations in early grade reading programs

  • November 15: Teacher training and coaching in EGR programs

  • November 27: From conception to scale: Program design, expansion and sustainability
