Tools & Techniques for High Impact Programming in Early Grade Reading

**TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT**

The USAID Office of Education is pleased to announce a free, two-day workshop for USAID Mission staff and external partners on Tools and Techniques for High Impact Programming in Early Grade Reading from May 23-24, 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Focus:

 

This workshop will cover: a) designing and implementing high impact parent and community programming through Social Behavior Change Communications (SBCC); b) integrating Global Book Fund and Mission programming to transform the development, procurement and distribution of books and use of the World Bank REACH Trust Fund REACH for Reading Call for Proposals to support Mission activities; c) high-impact instructional design to improve reading outcomes; and d) the use of Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) to monitor and continuously improve reading programs.

Who:

None. Travel costs assumed by the individual and/or his or her organization.
