Description: Drawing on a large body of randomized evaluations around student learning, the J-PAL Education Team (John FlorettaMeagan NealLuke Strathmann) will present emerging policy lessons on what works, and what doesn't, to improve early grade reading outcomes. J-PAL will discuss general policy lessons and how they can inform early grade reading interventions, as well as recent case studies on school inputs, the use of information & communication technology in the classroom, strengthening school governance, and improving curriculum and pedagogy.
