In recognition of International Literacy Day, All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development (ACR GCD) will present a webinar titled “How Technology Can Transform Child Literacy in Developing Countries.” The webinar will take place Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m. (EST) and will present the findings and lessons from 11 edtech pilot projects funded by ACR GCD from 2014-2017. These projects are also spotlighted in ACR GCD’s new report, Technology-Based innovations to Improve Early Grade Reading Outcomes in Developing Countries.
Webinar presenters include research firm School-to-School International, as well as ACR GCD-funded innovators Creative Associates, Little Thinking Minds, and Sesame Workshop India Trust. Participants will learn about the research design, project impact, and scalability assessment, as well as recommendations to guide future edtech project design, research, and funding decisions.
