FHI 360 Seeks Senior Reading Advisor for Project in Ghana

FHI 360’s Global Education team in Ghana is seeking a Senior Reading Advisor to support the USAID-funded Ghana Learning project, which aims to improve reading outcomes for over 1 million primary students in Ghana (grades KG2-P2). The project works closely with local Ghanaian NGO and MOE partners to achieve this goal. The Senior Reading Advisor will provide technical and scientific leadership in the design and implementation of technical strategies, programs and tools, with the goal of improving teaching and learning of reading in Learning’s schools. He or she also will facilitate the use of data-based decision-making for Learning, support revision of reading materials and trainings (face-to-face, coaching and e-learning), and provide capacity building for staff and partners. An important aspect of the Senior Reading Advisor role will be to lead activities that increase sustainability.
