Global Partnership for Education Lists New Year’s Resolutions

Although 2018 was a year of “significant milestones for education,” much work remains, according to a recent blog from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). Noting that more than 260 million children across the world remain out of school, GPE shares five new year’s resolutions to support learning worldwide in 2019:

  • More children in school,
  • More trained teachers,
  • More inclusive education,
  • More education data, and
  • More education funding

The blog explains why each resolution is important and gives examples of GPE activities supporting each one. Overall, the blog states that the key to success is working together. “Only through partnerships can we attain quality education for all,” the blog concludes.
