In celebration of UNESCO’s Mobile Learning Week, All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development (USAID, World Vision and the Australian Government) and Pearson’s Project Literacy invite you to join them as an agent of change in an interactive EVOKE Literacy Strategy Lab in Paris, France, on March 23.
EVOKE is a multi-player, online game that empowers youth to collaborate globally to solve urgent social challenges while building 21st century skills. EVOKE Literacy provides an engaging educational experience for youth to step into the world of an agent of change in the near future with the urgent mission to develop innovative solutions to the challenge that millions of children are not learning to read.
Motivated by evidence-based game methodologies and entertainment, youth agents work collaboratively to complete a series of eight missions with 48 activities. Through this process, they develop 21st century skills such as collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, empathy and reasoning.
The EVOKE Literacy Strategy Lab is designed to allow participants to “play” EVOKE Literacy. It will draw on each participant’s expertise to help identify, refine and enhance game activities. To learn more, visit this webpage.
