Under this EdData II task order, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, RTI International is administering a national Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) and Snapshot of School Management Effectiveness (SSME), in Bahasa Indonesia, across 400 primary schools in four regions to 4,800 grade 2 students.
The national survey focuses on teachers' proficiency in teaching early reading skills and will inform ongoing teacher reform efforts being initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
