Uganda School Health and Reading Program

RTI is organizing a consortium of international and Ugandan partners to improve early grade reading and transition to English for primary students in Uganda, to improve health and HIV/AIDS education and prevention efforts, and to improve the availability and use of high-quality management data for education sector policy, systems, and governance. The program is designed to improve reading ability for at least 3.5 million children. During national scale-up, RTI is aiming to implement reading interventions in 18,000 schools.
