Abstract (200 Character Limit) :

A informational webinar, supported by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) headquarters and implemented by Reading within Reach (REACH - URC), provides an overview of the Global Digital Library platform, discusses how USAID missions can contribute to its success, introduces you to the Global Book Alliance, your REACH and GDL points of contact, and provides technical requirements for downloading and uploading early grade reading materials to the GDL. We encourage all Missions to review this webinar in support of meeting the Global Book Alliance and USAID’s goals of greatly expanding the amount of early reading materials in local languages which may reach young readers -- helping them learn to read.
