Strategy for Mobilizing Public Opinion and Action around Reform of the Education System in Zambia
The National Mobilization Campaign for Education and Reading is a key priority in the Ministry of General Education's (MOGE) communication strategy with the objectives of:
- Motivating education managers and practitioners to improve the quality of education and reading.
- Increasing public awareness of the need for good quality education to gain support for initiatives undertaken by the education sector.
The campaign is a multi-year, multi-platform initiative focused on increasing awareness and creating demand for good quality education. The campaign will use a wide range of interventions to reach multiple audiences. Each year the National Campaign for Education and Reading will launch an advocacy campaign that will focus on a key issue related to increasing access and improving basic education in Zambia.
